Ninja Kids (Early Years 3 – 6 years)
Ninja Kids is JSTKD’s programme especially for 3 – 6 year olds. Classes are run by our fully DBS checked Instructors and children will benefit from being in our unique environment where fun, fitness and focus go hand in hand.
We offer carefully structured sessions where the children will learn the basics of Tae Kwon Do through a series of activities and exercises which are perfect for younger girls and boys. This has many hidden benefits too as not only do balance, co-ordination and flexibility improve but as well, you will notice improvements in social skills and confidence as the children learn to work together to achieve their goals. Our aim is to develop healthy children with healthy minds so they have the energy and fitness to be leaders and are prepared for success in later life
Our Ninja Kids have their very own colour belt system with a ‘Graduation Ceremony’ which take place at least twice, but sometimes three times a year. These are much anticipated and enjoyed events at our school, where our youngest martial artists get the chance to show off their talents for family and friends in a positive setting.
It is also great practice for when they become old enough to undertake the ‘real thing’. We have many Black Belts who began their Tae Kwon Do journey through the Ninja Kids programme…and of course, receiving your Ninja Certificate is a very proud moment!
When the children become 6 years old, they can progress to our Junior Kickers classes (6 – 9 years) where they will begin to learn the skills necessary to take their first steps on the colour belt ladder.
We offer 2 FREE TASTER LESSONS for new Ninjas to come along and try the classes – please feel free to invite a friend who might like to try it out too!
Junior Tae Kwon Do (7 – 16 years)
Juniors Tae Kwon Do: Juniors will learn both traditional and sports forms of Tae Kwon Do. They will improve their skills in many different ways, such as coordination & balance, focus, discipline and fitness.
Adult Tae Kwon Do
Adult Tae Kwon Do: Adults will learn both traditional and sports forms of Tae Kwon Do. They will benefit from increased muscle strength, flexibility, fitness and a positive outlook on life.
